So, I went to the lake yesterday. Unfortunately, I returned with zero photos… :'(
I caught up with an old friend yesterday. We went to this lake I did the pre-wedding photoshoot at in January. Most of the lake is now filled with water lily leaves. The part that was water had its bank in a private property, where as luck has it, I wasn’t allowed to go… There was this rock in that part of the lake where ducks were swimming and two storks were perching. My 450mm was not enough to get a picture… :'( There were a few birds on the side I did have access to, but I managed to scare them off while trying to take a picture a few times. My friend got bored with me running behind those birds… I got a total of 10-15 minutes there and I had to call it a day…
Well, next time I’m going alone…
And this one’s an old photo from earlier this year. His name isn’t really Jack…

Beautiful capture of this sparrow! I prefer to go on photo shoots alone or with a fellow photographer. Friends tend to rush me along or get bored VERY fast.
Well, I've been lucky enough to have a few friends who encourage me to get good shots (sometimes it's annoying… :D), but usually I go out alone… Considering I'm in a new city, I guess this incident let me figure out how to get to that lake… So next time, I'll be back with some cool shots…
And thanks !
Sometimes you really DO need to o alone if you want to do your thing photographically…unless, of course, you have a Partner in Crime who totally understands what you need to do because she, too, is a photographer!
*sigh*… I wish I had that Partner in Crime Ginnie…
cute fellow
Isn't he?
